ARIZONA
Regional beers to look for: Those from Nimbus Brewing, Four Peaks Brewing, Mogollon, Sonora Brewing and Oak Creek Brewing.
Essential stops: Prescott Brewing in Prescott, Cougan's Brewery & Grill in Glendale, Four Peaks in Tempe, Timberwolf Pub in Tempe.

NEVADA
Essential stops: Triple 7 Brewpub and Holy Cow!

NEW MEXICO
Regional beers to look for: Rio Grande Brewing (both the Rio Grande and Cabezon brands), Santa Fe Brewing, Cabezon Brewing.
Essential stops: Embudo Station in Embudo on the Rio Grande, Il Vicino in Santa Fe and Albuquerque, Second Street in Santa Fe, Eske's in Taos.
Just for fun: Mineshaft Tavern in Madrid. On a busy Sunday afternoon, bikers will drift in. Most order a Bud (available only in bottles), but every once in a while one will pick a Breckenridge Oatmeal Stout.
Best city for a pub crawl: Albuquerque.

OKLAHOMA
Regional beers to look for: Oklahoma doesn't have any microbreweires.
Essential stop: TapWerks in Oklahoma City, Coaches Brewery in Norman (also a non-brewing Coaches in Oklahoma City).
Just for fun: Pete's in Krebs. Even when Oklahoma was dry, beer was brewed and served at Pete's. Try the Choc beer.
Best city for a pub crawl: Oklahoma City.

TEXAS
Regional beers to look for: Arnold Brewing, Shiner (from Spoetzl Brewery), Live Oak Brewing.
Essential stops: The Ginger Man (Houston, Austin, Dallas), The Flying Saucer in Fort Worth, Mucky Duck in Houston, Blue Star and Hills and Dales in San Antonio.
Just for fun: Humprdinks in Arlington. Watch the people on the Six Flags rollercoaster scream.
Best city for a pub crawl: Austin.
