WHERE WE'VE BEEN: PHOTOS FROM THE ROAD

Three Brothers Three Brothers
2414 S. St. Clair St.
Milwaukee

Milwaukee is full of reminders of when beer barons ruled and the city was the brewing center of the United States.

You can visit the Pabst Mansion, tour the Miller Brewery, check out the old Blatz Brewery or make scores of stops related to other famous breweries. Many of the best place to visit feature Schlitz advertising. Schlitz was the No. 1 brewery in the United States as recently as 1957 but was out of business by 1981.

This former Schlitz tied house is now a top-flight Serbian restaurant. It was established by a trio of refugees in 1956, and is known for its burek.

When you get thirsty of interesting beer, head to Schlitz Park. There the Brown Bottle Pub in is a delightful re-creation of a European inn. Its menu includes a wide range of flavorful beers.
